International Balloon Festival «Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 2012" was held in Bristol in English from 9 to 12 August. The day started on the Ashton Cat in the air has risen about 100 balloons. addition to the direct running of traditional balloons, the festival could see balls of unusual shapes, as well as the famous night show Nightglow, during which dozens of beautifully-lit units, hovering in the sky at musical accompaniment. The first festival was held in 1979. At that time it was a small three-day event, which breathed life more enthusiastic with the idea of friends, led by the designer and the balloonist Don Cameron Balloons.
From a small event, which originally involved a total of 27 crews balloons, Bristol International Balloon Fiesta grew every year and is now Europe's largest annual festival of this kind.
